Founder: Geronimo Chancoso Sanchez

Welcome to Universal Thoughts, a creative powerhouse founded by Geronimo Chancoso Sanchez. Born in 1996 in the Netherlands, Geronimo's journey to success was marked by resilience, creativity, and a profound connection to music and dance.

Growing up, Geronimo faced challenging times but found solace in his own company and the world of music. His home was filled with melodies as his father played the guitar, panflute, and various Native American instruments, while his mother played the piano. Inspired by his musical surroundings, Geronimo would often pick up instruments and experiment, fostering a deep-seated love for music from a young age. By the age of 12, he had begun dabbling in music production, laying the foundation for his future endeavors.

At 16, Geronimo and his best friend auditioned for a dance academy, seeking to stay together through their educational journey. Although his friend left the academy after two weeks, Geronimo, encouraged by his mother to finish what he started, persevered. His dedication paid off, and in his first year, he had the honor of performing in major projects, including a standout moment in a stadium before 33,000 people.

Initially starting as a breakdancer, Geronimo's passion for dance grew immensely. He graduated as an all-around dancer with specializations in Contemporary, Experimental, Hip Hop, and Dance Theatre. His career took him to various cities such as Barcelona, Granada, Bremen, and Berlin, where he worked on numerous projects and performed with renowned artists.

After a year of teaching and engaging in projects, Geronimo expanded his expertise by joining a sound design education program, which again led to international projects. His journey into sound design complemented his dance career, broadening his artistic horizons.

At 18, Geronimo founded his own dance school, which he ran for 2.5 years. However, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to start his own record label, Universal Thoughts, at the age of 24. Under this label, he produced music across various genres, ingeniously creating different personas to represent each style.

Universal Thoughts has since evolved into more than just a record label. Leveraging the extensive network Geronimo has built since he was 16, the company now offers a wide range of creative services. From models and videographers to musicians and other creatives, Universal Thoughts aims to connect talents and resources to foster creativity and collaboration.

Despite his extensive commitments, Geronimo continues to teach dance classes and work as a choreographer. His dedication to dance remains unwavering, and he is passionate about passing on his knowledge and inspiring the next generation of dancers. In addition to his work in dance, Geronimo is also an active producer, not only creating music for himself but also contributing to theatrical productions, enhancing their impact through sound design.

Geronimo is also one of the founders of HELIOS, a dynamic event series that merges the worlds of Techno and Drum and Bass with live art. As an event organizer, he brings his extensive experience and creative vision to curate unforgettable experiences that combine music, art, and community.
